Magical Gardens in Janowiec

A few kilometres from Kazimierz Dolny, in the village of Trzcianki near Janowiec, runs the first family theme park in Poland. Opened on 23 May 2014, Magiczne Ogrody covers 18 hectares of sculpted terrain planted with about one million plants. The whole park is built around an original fairy tale, so the successive zones read like chapters of a book.

A garden full of story

At the entrance you learn where this world came from — the rest happens outdoors. In the Fairies' Garden stands the Fairies' Castle with a playground, the pond offers rafts and a fountain, and the Flower Valley is crossed by the Bulwiaki miniature train with its little village. A special tulip cultivar named after the park took 25 years to breed and can be seen only here. From the beginning the park has also been designed as a sensory space supporting children's development.

Treetops and bogs

The biggest draw for older children is „Drzewa” (Trees) — two-level walkways among the treetops with a total length of 400 m, tunnels in the roots and a viewing terrace, operating since 2019. The Gnome Stronghold offers an obstacle course and a 15-metre slide, while the Tower of Trials is a ride for the youngest. Mroczysko, a bog explored with a guide, is available to children from the age of 6.

In practice

The park runs from May to early October; in summer holidays daily from 10:00 to 19:00, outside the holidays on selected days, mainly weekends. A standard ticket costs PLN 109, a reduced one PLN 99, a family ticket for three PLN 299, and children up to 100 cm tall pay PLN 15. On site you will find free parking, food outlets and stroller-friendly paths.
