§ 2. Provider and contact
The Provider is Bartosz KoĆodziej, sole trader, Ćubowo 127, 62-260 Ćubowo, Poland, tax ID (NIP): 7842438640.
Contact: e-mail kontakt@tripto.pl. Letters may be sent to the address above.
§ 3. Types and scope of services
Through the Service, the Provider offers the following Services free of charge:
Some features (e.g. saving favourites without logging in) work only in the Userâs browser, without an Account.
Paid services offered through the Service are governed by separate terms, which take precedence over these Terms in matters they regulate. In all other respects these Terms apply.
- browsing the database of Attractions, maps, trip plans and articles â no account needed,
- an Account â sign-up and login with e-mail and password, a one-time link sent by e-mail, or a Google account; the Account lets you save favourite and visited places,
- posting reviews of Attractions â for logged-in Users (§ 7),
- suggesting corrections to Attraction descriptions via the âSuggest a correctionâ form,
- the âGdzie ten weekend?â newsletter â sign-up must be confirmed via a link sent by e-mail (double opt-in),
- the contact form and contact by e-mail.
Paid services: map posters
Map posters (digital content â PDF and PNG files made to order) are sold under the poster sales terms.
Paid services: digital audio guides
Audio guides are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (recordings, transcripts, stop descriptions and the route map), played in the browser. The detailed rules â including the right of withdrawal and complaints â are set out in the audio guide terms. In short:
- access is activated on a device with the link from the e-mail, the access code or a companion invitation; one purchase covers up to 4 devices, and invitations are valid for 24 hours,
- access lasts 365 days (12 months) from the first activation,
- an internet connection is needed to activate access and download recordings; once the route is downloaded for offline use, recordings and texts work without a connection, the map needs one,
- the right of withdrawal expires once access is provided, if the Consumer expressly requested this before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged the loss of the right (Art. 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act),
- sharing codes, links or invitations to use the guide beyond the device limit is prohibited.
§ 4. Technical requirements
The Service uses cookies and browser local storage as described in the cookie policy. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.
Using the internet involves typical risks (e.g. malware, phishing). We recommend keeping your software up to date and not sharing your login details with anyone.
- a device with internet access and an up-to-date version of a common web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript enabled,
- to create an Account, subscribe to the newsletter or contact us â an active e-mail account,
- to log in with Google â a Google account,
- for the Account to work â a browser that accepts strictly necessary cookies.
§ 5. Conclusion and termination of contracts
The Services described in § 3 are free of charge.
You may terminate the Account contract at any time, without giving reasons and at no cost, by sending a request to delete your Account to kontakt@tripto.pl from the e-mail address linked to the Account. We delete the Account without undue delay, within 14 days at the latest. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with one click on the link included in every e-mail.
The Provider may terminate the Account contract with 30 daysâ notice for good cause, in particular if a service is discontinued. The Provider may terminate the contract or suspend the Account with immediate effect if the User seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms or the law (in particular by posting illegal content). We will inform you by e-mail and state our reasons (§ 11).
- The contract for browsing the Service is concluded when you open a page of the Service and ends when you leave it.
- The Account contract is concluded when the Account is created (including at the first login via Google or an e-mail link) for an indefinite period.
- The newsletter contract is concluded when you confirm your subscription via the link in the e-mail.
- The contract for a review, correction suggestion or contact form is concluded when you submit the content and is performed once the Service accepts it.
§ 6. User obligations and prohibited content
Users must use the Service in accordance with the law, these Terms and good practice. In particular, it is prohibited to:
Users are responsible for the User Content they submit and for keeping their login details secure.
- submit unlawful content, including content that infringes personal rights, incites hatred or violence, or is offensive or vulgar,
- send spam, advertising or links to other websites, or add content automatically,
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of third parties, including posting other peopleâs content without permission,
- post false or misleading reviews, including reviews of places the User does not know, commissioned reviews, or reviews by the owner, an employee or a competitor of the Attraction,
- post reviews in exchange for payment, a discount or any other benefit without clearly disclosing this,
- disclose personal data of third parties,
- impersonate others or disrupt the Service (e.g. attempts at unauthorised access, mass downloading of data).
§ 7. Reviews of Attractions
- Reviews can be posted by logged-in Users. A review contains a rating from 1 to 5, text and, optionally, the month of the visit. A User can post one review per Attraction and may edit it later.
- Reviews are published under a pseudonym (e.g. âTraveler #1234â), without the authorâs name or e-mail address.
- Reviews are moderated. Before publication, the text is checked automatically for links and prohibited content, among other things; after publication, reviews may be checked by the Provider, in particular following a notice. The Provider may hide or remove a review that breaches these Terms or the law (§ 6).
- The Provider does not verify whether the author of a review of an Attraction has actually visited or used it. Reviews of Attractions reflect their authorsâ subjective opinions and are not the Providerâs opinions.
- Reviews are displayed newest first. The average rating is calculated from all published reviews of the Attraction. We do not remove or hide reviews because of a low rating and we do not accept payment for publishing, removing or ordering reviews.
§ 8. How Attractions are ordered
Lists of Attractions (e.g. in the catalogue, regions, cities and categories) are ordered by the popularity of the Attractions in the Service, with editorial adjustments: at the top of lists we avoid repeating the same photos and clustering many places from one city, and memorial sites do not open lists. Search results also take into account how well they match the search phrase, and map views take into account location and selected filters.
Affiliate links and partner commissions do not affect the order of Attractions. We do not charge for including an Attraction in the Service or for its position on a list.
§ 9. Affiliate links and partner content
The Service contains partner (affiliate) links, including to Booking.com (via the CJ Affiliate network) and GetYourGuide. If you make a booking or purchase after clicking such a link, the Provider may receive a commission. This does not affect the price you pay.
Booking or purchase contracts are concluded directly with the partner, on the partnerâs terms. The Provider is not a party to these contracts and is not responsible for their performance. The GetYourGuide widget is shown only if you consent to marketing cookies.
§ 10. Reporting illegal content
Any individual or entity may report content in the Service that they consider illegal or contrary to these Terms â by e-mail to kontakt@tripto.pl or via the âSuggest a correctionâ form on the Attractionâs page. Notices are accepted in Polish or English.
A notice should contain (Article 16(2) DSA):
- an explanation of why the notifier considers the content illegal,
- the exact location of the content â the URL of the page and, where necessary, additional information to find it (e.g. an excerpt of the review),
- the notifierâs name and e-mail address â not required for notices concerning child sexual abuse offences,
- a statement confirming the notifierâs good-faith belief that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.
Handling notices
If an e-mail address is provided, we confirm receipt of the notice and then process it in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner. Decisions are taken by a human; we do not use automated decision-making for this purpose. We inform the notifier of our decision and of the available means of redress.
If information about content gives rise to a suspicion of a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of persons, we promptly inform the competent law enforcement authorities.
§ 11. Moderation, statement of reasons and appeal
We moderate User Content to detect content that is illegal or incompatible with these Terms. We use automated filters (e.g. blocking links and spam in reviews) and manual review by the Provider. Possible measures are: withholding publication, hiding or removing content and, for serious or repeated breaches, suspending or deleting the Account.
A User affected by a restriction receives, at the latest when it is imposed, a clear and specific statement of reasons (Article 17 DSA), including: the type and scope of the restriction, the facts and circumstances relied on, whether the decision was taken following a notice or on our own initiative and whether automated means were used, the legal provision or term of these Terms on which it is based, and the available means of redress. This does not apply where we do not know the Userâs e-mail address.
Although as a micro-enterprise we are not required to do so (Article 19 DSA), we voluntarily provide an internal appeal procedure: the affected User and the notifier may appeal within 14 days of being informed of the decision, by e-mail to kontakt@tripto.pl, stating which decision the appeal concerns and why it should be changed. We decide on appeals without undue delay, within 14 days at the latest, and inform you of the outcome by e-mail.
The appeal procedure does not limit your right to go to court.
§ 12. Point of contact
The single point of contact for authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Article 11 DSA) and for recipients of the service (Article 12 DSA) is the e-mail address kontakt@tripto.pl.
You can communicate with the point of contact in Polish and English. Communication is not handled solely by automated tools.
§ 13. Liability
Descriptions of Attractions are editorial and informational. We strive to keep them accurate and up to date, but opening hours, ticket prices, availability and visiting rules may change without our knowledge. Please check current information with the operator of the Attraction before you travel. Information in the Service does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code.
The Service contains links to third-party websites. The Provider is not responsible for their content or for services provided by their operators.
The Provider is not liable for User Content whose illegal nature it was not aware of and, upon obtaining reliable knowledge of its illegal nature, promptly disables access to it (Article 6 DSA).
The Provider may temporarily restrict access to the Service due to maintenance or a failure, keeping interruptions to the necessary minimum.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits the Providerâs liability towards Consumers where mandatory law does not allow this.
§ 14. Intellectual property
Texts, layout, software and other elements of the Service are protected by copyright and belong to the Provider or are used under licence. They may not be copied or distributed beyond permitted use without the Providerâs consent.
Some photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under free licences (e.g. Creative Commons) â we credit the author and licence with each photo. Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL licence).
By posting a review or other User Content, the User confirms they hold the rights to it and grants the Provider a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and distribute it in the Service (including in translations and as excerpts in the Serviceâs materials) for the duration of copyright protection. The licence ends with respect to the Service once the content is removed. The Provider is not obliged to exercise the licence.
§ 15. Complaints
Complaints about the Services can be sent by e-mail to kontakt@tripto.pl. Please describe the problem, give an e-mail address for our reply and, where relevant, the address of the page concerned.
We reply to complaints within 14 days of receipt, by e-mail to the address you provided. Complaints about paid services are handled under the separate terms and the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
§ 16. Out-of-court dispute resolution
Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, in particular free assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentĂłw) or a consumer organisation, or apply to the Voivodeship Inspector of Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) for mediation or to the permanent consumer arbitration court at the Voivodeship Inspectorate of Trade Inspection. The Providerâs participation in such proceedings is voluntary.
Information on these procedures is available, among others, on the website of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl). The EU ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
§ 17. Sole traders acting on consumer terms
The provisions on Consumers in these Terms and in the terms for paid services â concerning unfair contract terms, the right to withdraw from a distance contract and the conformity of digital content and services with the contract â also apply to a natural person entering into a contract directly related to their business where the contract shows that it is not of a professional nature for that person, as indicated in particular by the subject of their business activity entered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) (Articles 7aa and 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and Article 385â” of the Polish Civil Code).
§ 18. Personal data
The controller of Usersâ personal data is the Provider. The privacy policy describes how we process data, including purposes, legal bases, recipients and your rights.
§ 19. Changes to these Terms
The Provider may amend these Terms for good reasons, in particular: changes in the law, decisions or rulings of authorities, the introduction, modification or discontinuation of Services, technical changes, or the need to prevent abuse.
We announce changes on the Service and, for Users with an Account or newsletter subscribers, also by e-mail, at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you may terminate the contract with immediate effect and at no cost before they take effect (§ 5).
Changes do not affect contracts for paid services concluded before they take effect, unless they are favourable to the User.
§ 20. Governing law and final provisions
Contracts concluded under these Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice of law does not deprive Consumers of the protection afforded to them by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence (Article 6(2) of the Rome I Regulation).
Disputes with Users who are not Consumers are settled by the court having jurisdiction over the Providerâs registered address. Disputes with Consumers are settled by the courts having jurisdiction under general rules.
These Terms apply from 8 October 2026. The English and German versions are for information; in case of discrepancies the Polish version prevails, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection law.
