The Vistula Boulevard in Kazimierz Dolny is the best place to see the town from the river. The promenade itself is an outdoor public space, not a museum or a single marked sightseeing route.

Planning the walk

Reach the boulevard from the Market Square via Senatorska Street or from Nadwiślańska Street. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to continue beyond the paved promenade. Cruises, food outlets, toilets and riverside events are seasonal, so check availability before travelling. The boulevard is a free public space with no fixed opening hours, but take care during high water, on slippery surfaces or in strong wind.

Practical information

Leave your car in a designated town car park rather than on the embankment or by the quay. Combine the walk with the Market Square, parish church, castle and tower. If you want a cruise, book it separately with an operator and check the current timetable. A crossing or sightseeing boat to Janowiec depends on the seasonal offer.
