Cieńków Viewpoint Bench

On the summit of Cieńków Niżny (720 m above sea level) in the Silesian Beskids stands a bench with one of the pleasantest views above Wisła: Czantoria and Czupel line the horizon, Lake Czernichów glistens below, and sheep graze on the meadows. This is an easy spot to reach — even by car.

Three ways to the top

The fastest is by car: a narrow, steep but asphalt road leads up to Ranczo Cieńków, and the car park by the ranch is free of charge. A chairlift from Wisła Malinka also climbs the ridge. If you prefer to walk, take the yellow trail from Wisła Czarne, below the small dam — on the way you pass the Adam Małysz ski jump and a beech forest. From the bench you can continue on the red trail along the Cieńków ridge to Magurka Wiślańska.

The magic tree

Right by the bench grows a fine tree over 100 years old. According to local legend, anyone who embraces a loved one under it and gives them a kiss will know complete happiness in the relationship. Entry is free and the place is accessible all year; you can eat at the ranch inn and turn the summit into a short family outing instead of an all-day hike.
