Cycling Routes in Krynica-Zdrój

Eight one-way loops with a total length of 125 km form the cycling network of Krynica-Zdrój, launched in 2020 and named after the town's mineral water springs. All routes begin at the promenade, next to the tourist information point, and are marked with a cyclist logotype in the colour assigned to the given route.

Loops from Kryniczanka to Zuber

The shortest Słotwinka (violet, 4.6 km) and Kryniczanka (blue, 9.4 km) work well as a warm-up. The black Tadeusz (11.1 km) leads across Góra Parkowa, while the red Józef and orange Jan (14.6 km each) enter the hills surrounding the town. The green Zuber (22.3 km) and brown Mieczysław (22 km) already require stamina — the latter wanders right below Jaworzyna Krynicka, and the yellow Karol (25 km) leads to the viewing tower.

The town has rentals of mountain and electric bikes — in hilly terrain the assistance of a motor makes things much easier, and the distances and elevation of the route are easy to match to your fitness.

A health-resort backdrop

Krynica-Zdrój lies in the Sącz Beskids, in the valley of the Kryniczanka stream, within the Poprad Landscape Park. The town counts around 9,600 inhabitants and is surrounded by the hills of Góra Parkowa, Krzyżowa and Jasiennik, so every loop begins and ends among health-resort buildings.
