Jaworzyna Krynicka

Jaworzyna Krynicka, at 1,114 m, is the highest summit of the Jaworzyna Krynicka range in the Beskid Sądecki Mountains. It is a popular destination from Krynica-Zdrój: visitors can reach the summit by gondola from the Czarny Potok area or hike on marked trails. At the top there are mountain views, the View 360 platform and the resort’s visitor facilities.

How to get there

The easiest option is the gondola from the lower station at 75 Czarny Potok Street in Krynica-Zdrój. Hikers can use the red or green routes described by the operator; some trails connect the summit with Krynica and the surrounding trail network. Check the map, forecast and current notices before setting out, as some sections can be difficult or temporarily closed in winter.

What to see

The main attraction at the top is the View 360 platform beside the upper gondola station, with panoramas of the Beskid Sądecki and further ranges. Nearby, you can find the Devil’s Stone, an educational nature trail with several stops and seasonal family activities including Lynx Land. The resort also offers cycling routes, restaurants and connections to longer walks. The platform and some attractions have separate rules and tickets.

Practical information

Jaworzyna is an operating mountain resort, not just a viewpoint, and its offer changes between the summer and winter seasons. Check the operator’s website for current gondola, platform, restaurant and attraction hours before travelling. Strong wind or poor weather can affect operations. Wear comfortable shoes and allow extra time if you plan to descend on foot.
