Tylicz, Lesser Poland
Tylicz Ski Station sits on the slopes of Bradowiec, a few kilometres from Krynica-Zdrój but away from its crowds. It has about 6 kilometres of runs, two chairlifts and separate beginner areas, and the slopes have snowmaking and floodlights. The resort focuses above all on families and learning to ski.
The resort is about 2 kilometres south-west of Tylicz, on the road to Powroźnik, on the north-east slope of Bradowiec (770 m). It lies in the buffer zone of the Poprad Landscape Park. The company that runs it was set up in 2010, and in the 2011/2012 season a new chairlift replaced an old T-bar.
At the bottom of the chairlifts there are a ski school and ski kindergarten, rental and service shops, and places to eat serving regional food. The car parks at both lifts are large and free.
Buy lift passes at the ticket office or in the station's online shop – passes bought online are valid only at this resort. For groups of four or more the station runs a free Ski-Bus from Tylicz and Krynica. The season's opening depends on snow conditions; check the slopes on the station's webcams. After skiing, visit the wooden church and the Lemko church in Tylicz, or the Bradowiec mineral spring on the road to Powroźnik.
