Miniatures Park Ogrodzieniec

A few dozen metres from the ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle, at Zamkowa 33 street in Podzamcze, stands the Miniatures Park — 17 models of Jura castles at a 1:25 scale, recreated according to historical truth and placed roughly as the strongholds lie in the terrain along the Trail of the Eagles' Nests.

Castles and siege machines

Visitors will see, among others, miniatures of Ogrodzieniec, Bobolice, the castle in Olsztyn, Tenczyn and Smoleń — often in a version no longer visible in the field, since many of these strongholds are ruins today. Next to the models stand siege machines in natural sizes: a watchtower, a catapult, a trebuchet and a ballista.

In practice

Since 2014 the park has been part of Park Ogrodzieniec, which also includes an amusement park for children, the Physical Experiments Park, a sledding hill and the House of Legends and Fears. The miniatures park alone costs PLN 15 (reduced PLN 12), while the combined ticket for the whole Park Ogrodzieniec is PLN 49 (reduced PLN 44). The venue operates from April to November: on Saturdays 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., on Sundays 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. There is a playground on site and a stall selling ice cream and coffee, with a rope park and Skalne Miasto right next door.
