Amusement parks
At the foot of the ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle — the best-known stronghold of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland — on Zamkowa street in Podzamcze operates AdrenaLinaPark. The rope park opened here in 2006 and has been expanded several times since; its location, only 0.2 km from the castle and the Trail of the Eagles' Nests, makes it a natural item on the agenda of any trip to the area.
The red route, available to visitors over 140 cm tall, counts 33 obstacles along a total of 400 m: four zip lines, bridges, nets, planks, balancing beams and loops. The green one is aimed at children from age 6 up to 150 cm tall — 10 obstacles along 100 m, including zip lines, bridges, nets and balancing beams.
The park is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The same operator runs another rope park in Podlesice, next to the Ostaniec Hotel, so obstacle fans can pair both places in one weekend. After the zip-line rides it is worth climbing the castle and then heading for the Błędów Desert or the castles of Bobolice, Rabsztyn and Pieskowa Skała.
