Radochowska Cave

Radochowska Cave is a guided karst cave in Bzowiec, near Lądek-Zdrój. The visit follows about 300 metres of natural passages and chambers. It is a good choice for travellers who want a more rugged, adventurous cave experience rather than a polished underground museum route.

What you will see

The route reveals the cave’s raw formations, narrow passages and karst features. Remains of Pleistocene animals were also found underground, adding scientific and natural interest. This is not a brightly illuminated show cave: the guide provides helmets and lights, and the darkness and uneven terrain are part of the experience.

Visiting information

According to the operator, during the regular season the cave is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, with last entry at 17:20. The regular season runs from 15 April to 30 September; visits outside that period can be arranged in advance. A tour takes about 40 minutes. The listed price is PLN 45 for a standard ticket and PLN 40 for a reduced ticket; payment is by cash or BLIK.

Practical advice

Expect uneven ground and tighter sections, and move carefully with the group. Wear sturdy closed shoes and clothes that can get dirty. The operator gives a minimum child age of 3.5 years. Check current hours, guide availability and entry rules before travelling, especially outside the regular season.
