Museums
Chlebowa Chata in Górki Małe near Brenna is an open-air museum, educational farm and hands-on heritage centre where visitors learn about rural life by doing rather than only looking. The bread oven is the heart of the site, but the visit goes far beyond bread.
Workshops follow grain from farming and grinding it on a quern to preparing flatbreads and tasting bread with butter and honey. The hosts demonstrate old tools, occupations and household tasks, turning baking into a practical lesson about everyday village life.
The grounds include historic farm buildings and equipment: a barn, windmill, forge, oil mill, granary, carriage house, old beehives, tractors and vintage vehicles, as well as an animal enclosure. Depending on the programme, visitors can add a campfire, a regional meal, a small train ride or pottery workshops. The offer varies by group and date, so arrange any extras when booking.
Visits are by prior appointment. Individual families can join demonstrations on selected dates, while groups book a programme tailored to their needs; the school offer is designed for organised groups of at least 20 participants. Chlebowa Chata operates year-round by arrangement, and the workshop area is indoors. Address: ul. Breńska 113, 43-436 Górki Małe. Bookings: +48 664 345 019 or +48 33 853 96 30. There are no regular sightseeing hours, so confirm the date, programme and price before travelling.
