Water Drinking Hall in Ustroń

In the refreshed Ustroń Spa Park, on Sanatoryjna Street, a glass-walled Water Drinking Hall has been built whose architecture nods to Ustroń's famous wooden pyramids. It is one of the hearts of the resort — Ustroń is one of only two spa towns in the Silesian Voivodeship — and a convenient starting point for walks in the park.

Water from the Zygmunt spring

Beneath the hall flows the Zygmunt spring, whose water you can drink on the spot. It is slightly acidic (pH 6.6), classified as hydrogen-carbonate-calcium water, and its hardness sits on the border between very soft and soft. This is water people reach for both for its taste and as a drinking cure recommended by the spa.

A brine tower under one roof

Right below the Drinking Hall works a brine graduation tower: brine jets out of over a dozen nozzles, saturating the surrounding air with minerals. A walking loop runs around it — a few minutes of slow walking are enough to feel a salty, seaside microclimate in the middle of the Silesian Beskids. In season, entry to the tower is free.

Park and panorama

After revitalisation, the Spa Park gained walking paths and an outdoor gym, and from the meadow by the hall you can see the panorama of the Silesian Beskids' peaks. Entry to the hall and the whole park is free of charge. Reserve an hour for drinking the water and inhaling by the tower, then plan a longer walk along the park's avenues — with benches, shaded paths and mountain views along the way.
