The Czantoria Chairlift at Ustroń Polana is a convenient starting point for Czantoria Wielka in the Silesian Beskids. Its four-seat chairs cover about 1,640 m and climb 462 m, ending at the Stokłosica glade. One important detail: the upper station is not on the summit itself, so you must continue on foot to reach the observation tower.
The ascent reveals wooded slopes and views towards Ustroń. Stokłosica works well for a short family walk, a break or the start of a longer hike. A marked trail leads to the summit of Czantoria Wielka (995 m a.s.l.); on the Czech side, a steel observation tower offers paid access. Check whether the tower is open, as weather and operator decisions can affect availability.
The area supports several kinds of outings. The red Main Beskid Trail crosses Czantoria, while a blue trail connects the mountain with Ustroń. In the Czantoria nature reserve, visitors may walk only on designated trails. You can also follow the Czantoria forest nature path between the upper station and the tower, or continue towards Soszów, Stożek or Nýdek.
Buy return, one-way and bicycle tickets at the station or in the official online shop. Opening hours and prices change with the season, so check them before travelling. Allow at least 2–3 hours for the ride and walk to the tower. Hiking shoes are useful because the upper section is a mountain trail rather than a paved walkway.
