Nature
The Ecological Education Centre in Góra Siewierska is a free outdoor education park in Psary commune, near Będzin. Opened in 2022, it covers about 1.7 hectares. It combines a walk with simple nature-based experiences, making it suitable for a family outing, outdoor lesson or short stop on a cycling trip.
The park’s main feature is a 15-metre steel viewing tower. From the platform you can see the Dąbrowa Basin and, in clear weather, parts of Silesia farther away. Stairs lead up to the platform; if you need an accessibility solution for the tower, arrange it with the site operator in advance rather than assuming it is always available.
The site includes an educational trail with 23 boards, a geological garden, devices demonstrating wind and water, a plant garden and beekeeping-themed elements. Children can use sensory zones and a playground with a zipline. Several stations invite visitors to touch, listen and observe, making the park more engaging than an ordinary walk.
Entry to the park and its outdoor features is free. This is an open-air attraction, so choose a dry day and wear shoes suitable for grass and paths. No fixed daily sightseeing hours are confirmed; check municipal or organiser notices before travelling. The centre is listed at 154 Tadeusza Kościuszki Street in Góra Siewierska. You can combine the visit with a walk or cycle route through Psary commune.
