Baltic Miniature Park in Międzyzdroje

The Baltic Miniature Park at ul. Nowomyśliwska 98 in Międzyzdroje takes you around the Baltic Sea in 45 minutes. Models of monuments and lighthouses from nine countries are built at a scale of 1:25 and placed according to their real location along the shore of a miniature Baltic. The park opened in April 2015, operates all year, and a guided tour is included in the ticket price.

What you'll see

The route follows the coasts of Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The largest model in the park is Malbork Castle. Others include:

• the Gdańsk Crane and Gdańsk Shipyard, the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin and the church in Trzęsacz as it looked before it fell into the sea,
• the Holsten Gate in Lübeck, Schwerin Castle and the Brandenburg Gate,
• Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen, Kalmar Castle and Skokloster Castle near Stockholm,
• Helsinki Cathedral, the Church of the Resurrection in St Petersburg, Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, the House of the Blackheads in Riga and Vilnius Cathedral,
• lighthouses, including the Świnoujście lighthouse, and the Øresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden.

All the models were made by Polish model-making workshops. At the centre is a pool – a miniature Baltic Sea at 1:45,000 with the coastline reproduced and a model of the tall ship Dar Pomorza. A separate attraction is a model railway covering about 500 m².

Guided tours

A guide is included in the ticket and tells the story of the buildings you see. The route itself takes about 45 minutes, but with the model railway and photos allow 1–1.5 hours. The models are outdoors; the park stays open in the rain, and umbrellas are available on site. Parking and toilets are free, and dogs are welcome. The "Bałtycki Kredens" café and the souvenir shop are open from 1 May to 30 September.
