Wax Figures Museum in Międzyzdroje

The Wax Figures Museum in Międzyzdroje is at 19 Bohaterów Warszawy Street, on the central promenade near the pier. Its indoor exhibition presents around 110 life-size figures of actors, singers, politicians, athletes, artists and film or fairy-tale characters. It is a compact rainy-day attraction with free photography.

What to expect

The exhibition combines Polish and international figures from film, music, politics and culture with pop-culture characters and scenes for children. Polish figures include Bogusław Linda, Krystyna Janda, Lech Wałęsa and John Paul II. The line-up can change, so check the current exhibition if you are looking for a particular figure. Photography is free.

Tickets and opening hours

The official website lists tickets at PLN 40 regular, PLN 35 reduced, PLN 35 for organised adult groups and PLN 30 for organised children’s groups. The museum operates year-round, but is closed on Mondays from October to April. Opening hours are 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. in July and August, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. in May, June and September, and 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. from October to April. Check the current price list and schedule before visiting.

Planning your visit

The exhibition is easy to combine with a walk along the promenade and a visit to the pier. Kino Eva and the Międzyzdroje Planetarium are in the same area.
