Sport Dolina (formerly Dolomity Sportowa Dolina) is a year-round ski and snowboard centre built on the site of a former dolomite mine, on the border of Bytom and Tarnowskie Góry. Its address is Blachówka 94 in Sucha Góra, a Bytom district founded in 1778 as a colony of Piekary Rudne and incorporated into Bytom in 1975.
In winter T-bar lifts run, and the ski slope is snowed, groomed and floodlit. The youngest get a sledding hill open throughout the winter. On site you will find equipment rental with servicing, a ski school and a restaurant.
In summer the centre turns into a cycling base: several bike trails and scenic paths, bike rental and a playground; a quad track operates as well.
Next door lie the Segiet forest reserve, the Blachówka quarry known as the "Grand Canyon", and the line of the Upper Silesian Narrow-Gauge Railway, which in summer runs tourist trains from Bytom to Miasteczko Śląskie. The S-Kart go-kart track completes the offer.
The upper car park is paid; the lower one — about 200 m on foot from the centre — is free. Current hours and prices are published on the centre's website.
