The European Fairy Tale Centre named after Koziołek Matołek in Pacanów is a family cultural centre that turns Kornel Makuszyński’s literary character into an interactive story. A visit combines the multimedia “Fairy Tale World” with play, education and outdoor attractions. It is a family destination for fans of classic Polish fairy tales.
The main exhibition takes visitors through fairy-tale worlds in the form of an interactive route. Children move through different sets and tasks, while the storytelling is adapted to the participants’ age. The Centre also includes the Small Theatre, Szkatułka cinema, a library and a bookshop. Visits are timed.
The Educational Park “Fairy Tale Academy” offers additional play and learning zones. The Centre also runs workshops for groups, seasonal events and activities that develop imagination and creativity. In warmer months, the garden is suitable for a family picnic. The range of attractions and available times may depend on the date and current programme.
