Zaurolandia Dinosaur Park in Rogowo

Zaurolandia is a family amusement park on Lake Rogowskie in the Pałuki region, opened on 28 April 2007. Its main draw is a 2-kilometre walking route lined with almost 80 life-size dinosaurs, and the whole park covers about 20 ha. More than 280,000 visitors came in the very first season, instantly putting it among the country's most popular attractions.

What to see

• Dinosaur trail – the models stand among trees and by the water, with boards covering geological eras, the layout of the continents, famous fossil sites, diets and theories of extinction.
• Palaeontological Museum – a collection of fossils from different geological periods.
• Play zone – over 2 ha in the centre of the park: rope courses for children and adults, an electric train, bouncy castles, quads, go-karts, electric cars, little boats and playgrounds.
• For school groups – a palaeontology sandpit, a maze, an obstacle course and archery in the trip packages.

Did you know

Rogowo is a fitting place for a prehistoric day out: the Biskupin settlement is only 12 km away, so the two are easy to combine in one day about the distant past. Rogowo itself held town rights for centuries (in 1380–1580 and 1672–1934), and a fortified settlement once stood on a peninsula of Lake Rogowskie. The dinosaurs are outdoors, and the park is dog-friendly – pets must be kept on a lead.

According to the park website, Zaurolandia is open daily: Mon–Fri 10:00–16:00, Sat–Sun 10:00–18:00; hours may change with the season and weather, and from 1 October 2026 some attractions may be unavailable on weekdays. A standard ticket costs PLN 65, reduced (children under 16) PLN 60, a 2+2 family ticket PLN 240; children under 3 go free and parking is free. Play-zone rides cost extra (usually PLN 10–20); if your child wants several, the Green Wristband for PLN 25 gives unlimited access to the bouncy castles, boats, train and more.
