Górecznik Adventure Park in Antonin

By the Górecznik pond, in the woods on the edge of the Barycz Valley, is a Family Adventure and Education Park where animal enclosures, nature trails and a summer play zone are all arranged around one pond. The complex at ul. Wrocławska 7 in Antonin (Przygodzice commune, south of Ostrów Wielkopolski) also includes an inn and a hotel, so it is easy to spend a whole day or a weekend here.

Animals and four trails

Paved paths around the pond lead past the enclosures and educational points. Part of the park is open all year: the animals, the trails, an open-air display of old household objects and a model of a craftsmen's town with traditional trades. On an island stands a fairy-tale cottage inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, and in the 2026 season the enclosures were renovated and a Capybara Island was added. Educators run sessions on four trails: animals, insects of the Barycz Valley, fungi and life in an old village. The park has long taken part in the "Education for the Barycz Valley" programme.

Fun Zone from May to September

In summer the Fun Zone opens: trampolines, an inflatable-ring slide, rope obstacles, a self-drive track, a little train, a ride over the park and a trail with prehistoric animals. One ticket covers everything for the whole day. During the 2026 summer holidays the zone was open Tuesday to Sunday 11:00–19:00, and a day ticket cost PLN 40 per child and PLN 20 per parent; children under 2 got in free. The zone was designed with few barriers and is accessible to wheelchair users.

Nearby

A few kilometres away in Antonin stands the Radziwiłł hunting lodge, built in 1822–1824 to a design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel for Prince Antoni Radziwiłł. It hosts the "Chopin in Autumn Colours" festival, and the Wydymacz nature reserve begins right next to it.

Tripto tip

You enter the park through the Wigwam café, where the ticket office is. The Fun Zone season usually ends on the last weekend of September, so check current hours and prices in the "News" section of the Górecznik website. With children, allow 3–4 hours; the inn is open daily 12:00–22:00. Bikes, including e-bikes, can be hired at the hotel reception for exploring the Barycz Valley trails.
