Górecznik Adventure Park in Antonin

Antonin in the Przygodzice municipality, south of Ostrów Wielkopolski, is the address of the Górecznik Family Adventure and Education Park — described as the largest family amusement park in southern Wielkopolska. The park lies by the Górecznik pond, among forests and meadows, along the border of a Natura 2000 area, in the landscape of the Barycz Valley — a river that rises in these parts and is regarded as the slowest in Poland.

Animals and trails

The pens are home to lemurs, meerkats, alpacas, llamas, a camel, a yak, horses, ponies, goats and poultry — the animals can be fed with feed bought on site. Education is supported by five thematic trails: devoted to animals, insects, fungi, the old village and fishing, and dinosaurs. On the old village trail, the boards are read out by multimedia narrators, making the park accessible to blind visitors as well. A collection of old rural objects and a model of a craftsmen's town complete the offer.

Fun zone

In the season, from May to September, the fun zone opens: the Trampoline Arena, a pontoon slide, the Tarzan rope park, mini quads, a zip line, a train at Górecznik station and fairy-tale cottages. A single-ticket rule applies — you pay once and use the attractions all day. The animal pens and trails run all year round during the inn's opening hours, and entry to them is free of charge. It is worth driving a few kilometres further to see the Radziwiłł hunting palace, built between 1822 and 1824 by Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
