Farma Iluzji (Illusion Farm)

Farma Iluzji ("Illusion Farm"; say "FAR-mah ee-LOO-zee") in the village of Mościska is a family amusement park in the forest of eastern Mazovia, roughly halfway between Warsaw and Lublin. Its 6 hectares hold more than 70 attractions: optical illusions and gravity-defying houses, a gold-mine adventure, Egyptian and pirate zones, rides, playgrounds and daily illusionist shows. Open since 2012, it's one of the longest-running theme parks in the Warsaw region and a popular day trip for families with young children.

How to get there

The park is close to the S17 expressway: about 100 km (1 hr 20 min) by car from Warsaw and 90 km (1 hr) from Lublin. There's free parking at the entrance, reached by a forest road, so wear comfortable shoes. The nearest train station, Mika, is about 5 km away; the park can arrange a transfer if you contact it in advance. Without a car, the trip is hard to do.

Top attractions

The park's own "must-sees" are:

• The Flying Hut of Mysteries: a tilted yellow house apparently lifted by balloons, where floors and walls play tricks on your sense of balance.
• Mystery of the Abandoned Mine: an underground-style gold-mine adventure.
• The Enchanted Mill: a wizard-themed attraction that won a Polish family-tourism award in 2025.

You'll also find a Museum of Illusions, a Path of Illusions, a spinning room, an "infinity well", a levitating tap and giant's furniture, plus a pharaoh's tomb, raft crossing, pirate ship, mini golf and small rides. New for 2026 were a virtual-reality journey, the Phoenix Tower and a chain carousel. Shows and kids' activities run daily, in Polish.

Opening hours and winter 2026/27

The 2026 summer season ended on October 4, and the park is currently closed. In the summer holidays it's open daily 10 am – 6 pm; outside them, individual visitors can come only on weekends and long weekends. In winter the park becomes Santa's Farm: from November 30 to December 20, 2026, open to individual visitors on weekends 11 am – 5 pm, with entry on the hour until 3 pm. Check the park's calendar for the 2027 opening date.

Tips

• Plan a full day; the illusion attractions alone take about 4 hours.
• Come on a weekday in July or August, or on a Saturday; sunny Sundays mean lines.
• Paths are mostly paved, with an accessible restroom and stroller rental.
• You may bring your own food (no alcohol); there are barbecue spots and picnic tables, plus a restaurant and cafés. Cards are accepted, but there's no ATM.
• Is it worth visiting? For families with young children, yes; adults without kids may find it less exciting than big theme parks.
