Wrocław Aquapark

Aquapark Wrocław on Borowska Street is the city's largest water park and one of the busiest in Poland, welcoming about 2.5 million visitors in 2025. Under one roof you will find leisure pools with a wave pool and lazy river, a set of water slides, a sports pool and a large sauna complex with an outdoor sauna garden. If you are looking for things to do in Wrocław (pronounced "VROTS-wahf") on a rainy day or with kids, this is the obvious choice.

Where it is and how to get there

Wrocław is the main city of Lower Silesia in southwestern Poland. The aquapark is at Borowska 99, south of the center and about 2.5 km from Wrocław Główny main station, reachable by tram or bus. Wrocław airport is on the western edge of the city. There is a large customer parking lot on site.

What's inside

The complex was built between 2005 and 2008, and its leisure pool hall covers about 3,500 m²:

• a wave pool and a lazy river
• a children's bay with a paddling pool and small slides
• slides of varying difficulty, including the double Wroc-Love, Duo Racer, Speed Onion, Cactus and a three-lane family slide; some have height limits, checked on site
• jacuzzis and seasonal outdoor pools

There is also a 25 × 20 m sports pool with eight lanes and a big sauna area with indoor and outdoor zones (Sauna Village, Onsen pool), including Finnish saunas, steam baths and an earth sauna. Back in 2017 the aquapark already drew 1.7 million visitors, making it the most visited water park in Poland and the third in Europe.

Opening hours (as of October 2026)

• Leisure pools: daily 8 am–10 pm, last entry 9:20 pm
• Sports pool: Mon–Fri 5:30 am–10 pm, Sat–Sun 8 am–10 pm
• Sauna area: daily 8 am–11 pm, last entry 10:20 pm
• The brine pool has been closed since September 15, 2026, due to a breakdown, until further notice; outdoor pools operate only in summer.

A leisure-zone ticket also covers the sauna area, fitness room and gym:

• standard: PLN 90 (2 hours) / PLN 105 (all day)
• seniors 60+: PLN 80 / 90
• family ticket: PLN 283 (2 hours) / PLN 316 (all day)
• children under 3 free

Overstaying costs PLN 2 per minute. Online tickets are valid for 90 days but do not guarantee entry, and there are no reservations, so arrive early on weekends and during school holidays.

Is it worth visiting?

For families, yes. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult in the leisure pools. A two-hour ticket is enough for a quick swim; with kids or if you want to use the saunas, the all-day ticket is better value. Bring flip-flops and a towel. Staff and signs are mainly in Polish.

Outside the entrance, look for Chlapibrzuch and Moczypięta, two of Wrocław's famous bronze dwarfs; hunting for the city's dwarf figurines is a favorite pastime for visiting families.
