Zoos
Alpakarnia Poczesna in Nowa Wieś near Częstochowa is a family park with alpacas, a mini zoo and children’s attractions. Visitors can approach the alpacas and buy a cup of feed. The operator lists more than 20 species, including capybaras, zebras, flamingos, lemurs, meerkats, camels, donkeys, parrots, kangaroos and goats.
Alpacas are the main reason to visit — the operator says that almost 100 are available for guests. They are used to people, but feed them only with food bought on site and follow the staff’s instructions. Some mini-zoo animals live in separate enclosures, so the visit combines close contact with alpacas and traditional animal viewing.
The admission ticket covers more than the mini zoo. Children can use the playground, rope park, inflatable attractions, trampolines, zip line and jumping cushion. There is also a café and a small souvenir shop. It works well as a several-hour family trip near Częstochowa, especially when children want to combine animals with active play.
The address is 1 Sadowa Street in Nowa Wieś, Poczesna municipality. In the summer season, from 1 April to 30 September, the park is open daily 10:00 am–7:00 pm; in October 10:00 am–6:00 pm; from 1 November to 31 March it opens Friday–Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm. Admission is PLN 45; children under 3 enter free, visitors with disabilities pay PLN 25 and the Large Family Card price is PLN 35. A cup of feed costs PLN 3. No reservation is required, but check current prices and hours before travelling.
