Park of Adventures and Attractions in Wilkowice

Wilkowice near Zbrosławice, a dozen or so kilometres west of Tarnowskie Góry, hide a family Park of Adventures and Attractions that grew out of a small indoor playroom. Today it is a large area by a pond, with a deer enclosure, a beach and a big playground, kept in a garden spirit — instead of concrete there are roses, lavender, rhododendrons and a Japanese willow.

The animal enclosure

The main attraction is the animal enclosure with spacious runs: deer, fallow deer, roe deer, sheep, goats, ostriches, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, ponies and a camel live here, while the other part is home to meerkats, lemurs, squirrels, rabbits, parrots and poultry. The animals can be fed with carrots and maize bought on site — which is why they approach the fences and pose for photos.

Beach and playgrounds

By the pond there is a sandy beach with sun loungers, thatched parasols and a volleyball court, and further on an artificial river flows and a barefoot path leads. For children there is a trampoline, an interactive sandpit, a creative games zone and a wooden crocodile with an obstacle course inside. The only attraction charged extra is the rope park for children aged 3 to 13. A grill bar operates by the entrance, and the car park remains free of charge. Out of season the park opens on selected weekends.
