Amusement parks
Inwałd, Lesser Poland
"Świat Marzeń" Miniature Park in Inwałd is a family park with models of 65 famous buildings from Poland and around the world, set between Andrychów and Wadowice. In a single day you can stand beneath the Eiffel Tower, St Peter's Basilica and Big Ben, then walk through the Tatras, Kraków and Warsaw all the way to the Baltic. The park lies at the foot of the Little Beskids and is one of the more popular family day trips in western Małopolska.
The park opened on 19 May 2007 on a site of about 7.5 ha in the village of Inwałd, in the municipality of Andrychów. Over time, amusement rides and the Fairy-Tale Fortress were added next to the miniatures; the fortress first operated as the Medieval Fortress Inwałd, hosting historical shows and staged sieges. Today the whole complex is known as Park Świat Marzeń ("World of Dreams").
The miniatures include the Acropolis, the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Statue of Liberty, the White House, Mount Rushmore, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sphinx and pyramids, and from Poland Malbork Castle and Kraków's Cloth Hall. Most models are built at a scale of 1:25, so the buildings' sizes are easy to compare. The exceptions are:
Next to the miniatures are the Green Maze, covering 2,000 m², with a viewing platform from which you can watch others getting lost, and a pyramid with an exhibition of replicas of Tutankhamun's treasures – the death mask, a chariot and the golden throne. The Egyptian zone also has the "Wild River" boat ride and the Egypt Horror Show.
In October 2026 the park is open until 25 October: on weekdays 10:00–16:00, at weekends 10:00–17:00; it is closed from 26 to 31 October. Ticket prices depend on the day and on whether the rides are running – off-season weekdays have cheaper walking tickets. The park publishes current prices and the opening calendar, including the winter season, on its website.
The miniatures alone take 2–3 hours; with the Fairy-Tale Fortress and the rides, plan a full day. The park is right on regional road 52 between Kraków and Bielsko-Biała, at ul. Wadowicka 169 in Inwałd. Afterwards, drive on to Wadowice, the home town of John Paul II, or head for the trails of the Little Beskids.
