Owadogigant Insect Park in Lubnica

A beetle, a spider, a butterfly and a praying mantis the size of a car: in Lubnica, in the Okonek district, insects are shown magnified up to 200 times. Owadogigant is a family amusement park on the edge of the Drawa Landscape Park, where a woodland trail lined with insect models is combined with playgrounds, rides and water attractions. One ticket covers the whole day, which makes it a good outing with pre-school and school-age children.

A trail of giant insects

The heart of the park is an educational trail with models of insects and arachnids, including a beetle, a spider, a butterfly, a mantis, an ant and a dragonfly. The models were made with attention to anatomical detail, and along the route there are information boards and quizzes about how insects live and what role they play in nature. Organised groups can book sessions with an animator and nature workshops. The park also takes part in the "Wyjście z klasą" school-trip programme.

What else the ticket includes

The ticket gives access to the rides in line with their individual rules. Among them are:

• a pirate train, bumper cars and go-karts,
• a tubing slide, a rope course and a zip line,
• rafts and small boats,
• bouncy castles and trampolines,
• a dig site for young palaeontologists,
• a room with giant building blocks and a multi-level indoor playground (non-slip socks required).

There is also a forest playground, a sensory path and a picnic area. The park offers accommodation and organises kayak trips, for example on the Czernica river.

Season, tickets and special programmes

For individual visitors the park opens in the summer season: at weekends in May and daily in June, July and August, usually until 18:00 (the opening time is given as either 10:00 or 12:00). Organised groups are welcome all year round by reservation. Outside summer there are seasonal programmes: the Easter Bunny Valley before Easter, a Corn Maze with a Pumpkin Farm in late summer and autumn, and Santa's Valley in November and December.

According to the 2026 price list, a standard ticket (over 16) costs PLN 54, while children under 80 cm pay PLN 1 and use the attractions with an adult. Tickets are valid all day. You may not bring food or drinks into the park, and in strong wind some rides may be closed – there are no refunds for attractions you could not use.

Allow at least half a day: the insect trail itself is a short walk, but children will want to try the train, the go-karts and the playground. The address is Lubnica 40, 64-965 Okonek. From Lotyń, drive via Wojnówko and Skoki; after the bus stop in Lubnica, turn onto a forest road and after about 500 m cross a concrete bridge. Check which attractions are running before you set off, as this depends on the weather.
