Canpol Wonderland in Człuchów

Canpol Wonderland near Człuchów (say: CHWOO-hoof) is a family amusement park in the village of Sieroczyn in Poland's Pomerania region, part of a roadside complex that also includes a free zoo, a go-kart track, a restaurant and a hotel. Kids can ride bumper cars, bumper boats and the Sky Train, try water rides and eurobungee, then walk over to see tigers, lions and European bison. If you are road-tripping across northern Poland with children, it is an easy, budget-friendly stop.

Where it is and how to get there

Sieroczyn sits on national road 22, about 4 km (2.5 miles) from the small town of Człuchów and a short drive from Chojnice. Gdańsk – the nearest big city and international airport – is roughly two hours away by car; Bydgoszcz is a bit closer. Public transport is limited, though there is a "Sieroczyn – Canpol" bus stop by the road. A car is by far the easiest way to visit. The address is Sieroczyn 4A, 77-300 Człuchów (GPS 53°39'04.9"N 17°19'11.3"E); on site you'll find parking, a gas station, a restaurant and a hotel.

Each ride has its own age and height limits, so ask staff before you pay.

Tickets and opening hours

As of October 2026, the operator does not publish a price list or fixed hours for Wonderland online. Entry to the grounds is free and rides are paid individually on site, in Polish złoty (PLN). Wonderland is a seasonal outdoor park – according to tourist listings, the 2025 season ran from May to September – and water rides depend on the weather. The free Canpol Zoo

The zoo next door is free to enter and open year-round: daily 8:00 am–4:00 pm from October 1 to March 31, and 8:00 am–8:00 pm from April 1 to September 30. Covering about 4,870 m² and holding official zoo status, it is home to 39 species and about 100 animals, including a Siberian tiger, African lions, a pygmy hippo, zebras, European bison, Arabian oryx, red kangaroos, camels and monkeys. The Small Zoo, with animal feeding and pony rides, opens on Sundays, plus Saturdays in summer.

Is it worth visiting?

For families with young children, yes – especially in summer, when all rides run and you can combine them with the free zoo. Allow two to four hours. Off-season, come mainly for the zoo and check which attractions are open. It is not a large theme park, so set expectations accordingly: think local family fun rather than roller coasters.

Nearby

In Człuchów, the tall Gothic tower of the old Teutonic Knights' castle is worth a look. Further afield, the town of Chojnice and the Tuchola Forest National Park (Bory Tucholskie) offer historic streets and pine forests with lakes.
