JuraPark Bałtów

JuraPark Bałtów is an amusement park in the village of Bałtów in the Holy Cross Voivodeship, on the Kamienna river. Its main attraction is a walking trail with dinosaur replicas at close to life scale, complemented by models of mammals and reptiles from various epochs.

Dinosaurs on the Kamienna

The park's core is education through play: each model comes with a board describing the species, epoch and curiosities. The trail runs through greenery, and the figures — from triceratops to tyrannosaurus — impress children in particular. The park is part of the Bałtów Tourist Complex, which also includes the Leśne Zacisze zoo, an amusement area and a small train.

Not just the Jurassic

A full day can be spent in Bałtów: after the park, ride the train, visit the animal enclosure and use the playgrounds. Families can join seasonal workshops and animations, and combined tickets covering several attractions are available at the ticket offices.

Practical information

Bałtów lies about 20 km from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and about 70 km from Kielce. There is a large car park at the entrance. In summer arrive before noon — queues for the most popular attractions grow after 12. Check opening hours, as some zones work on limited schedules in winter.
