Lakes
Lake Serwy lies in the Augustów Forest, about 15 kilometres north-east of Augustów. Its broad water surface, wooded shores and depth of up to 42 metres make it suitable for a full day of recreation, kayaking and swimming at designated areas. It is a good choice for combining water with the quiet of the forest.
The lake is known for clear water and good conditions for swimming, diving and kayaking. Its depth calls for caution: match activities to your skills, do not go out unprepared and follow the rules of the resort or bathing area you choose.
Nearby resorts, campsites, piers and rentals provide the visitor base. GIS lists the Camp Serwy bathing season in 2026 as 23 June–1 September, and Proserwy as 24 June–1 September. Check the latest water-quality notice and opening hours for the specific bathing area before swimming.
Plan a day on the water, a forest walk or a short pedal-boat outing. Away from the main beach it is easier to find a quieter shore, but not every water access point is a public bathing area. In season, check accommodation, parking, rentals and mobile coverage in the forest in advance.
Teren otwarty; kąpieliska i wypożyczalnie działają sezonowo.
