Jagodna (977 m above sea level) is the highest distinct summit of the Bystrzyckie Mountains and a peak in the Crown of Polish Mountains list. It should not be confused with the higher Jagodna Północna (985 m), the neighbouring high point. A steel-and-wood viewing tower, built in 2019, stands on the summit.
The tower is 23 m high, with a round viewing platform at about 19 m. From the top you can see the Bystrzyckie and Orlické Mountains, the Upper Nysa Depression, the Kłodzko Valley and the Śnieżnik Massif. The attraction’s information says entry is free, but the narrow spiral stairs require care.
The most popular approach follows the blue trail from Spalona Pass, near the PTTK “Jagodna” mountain hut; an alternative starts at the pass above Poręba. The broad forest road also suits cyclists and is used by cross-country skiers in winter. Check local notices for possible closures and current trail conditions before travelling.
