Suntago Park of Poland

Suntago Park of Poland in Wręcza (VREN-chah), near the town of Mszczonów, is Poland's largest indoor water park and one of the biggest in Europe, about 50–60 km (35 miles) southwest of Warsaw. Hundreds of real palm trees grow under a vast glass roof, and the pools are filled with warm geothermal water, so it feels like the tropics even in a Polish January. It is a strong pick for families with kids and for adults who want a full spa day.

What makes Suntago special

Suntago is the first stage of a planned leisure resort called Park of Poland. It opened on February 20, 2020, after almost three years of construction, at a cost of about €150 million. The complex can hold up to 15,000 visitors at once and was ranked 10th among Europe's water parks in the 2020 European Star Award. Most pools use thermal water pumped from a 1,720 m deep well and kept at around 32°C (90°F), which also helps heat the building.

Things to do: the three zones

Your ticket decides where you can go, so pick the zone first:

• Jamango – the family zone, a water jungle with 32 slides (the longest is 320 m), a wave pool, the Mamba lazy-river ride, a surf simulator and splash areas for little kids.
• Relax (16+) – a thermal pool under a retractable roof, mineral and saltwater pools, loungers among the palms and massage rooms.
• Saunaria (16+) – a large sauna world with themed saunas such as the Viking-style Valhalla, a Turkish bath, a salt grotto and the sub-zero Mont Blanc chamber, plus sauna rituals.

Only guests aged 16 and over can enter Relax and Saunaria, so families with younger children stay in Jamango.

Tickets and opening hours (as of October 2026)

Suntago opens daily: 10 am–9 pm Monday to Thursday and Sunday, 10 am–10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Slides and some attractions keep shorter hours, and schedules change during Polish school holidays. Sample Jamango prices in Polish złoty (PLN):

• adults: 2 hours PLN 114 on weekdays, PLN 139 on weekends; all day PLN 164 / 189
• children 90–120 cm tall: from PLN 84 for 2 hours; under 90 cm: PLN 1

• overstaying costs PLN 10 per 15 minutes

Buying online at least 14 days ahead saves up to PLN 30, and parking costs PLN 25 per day. The park announced temporary closures of some attractions for upgrades in October 2026, so check parkofpoland.com before you travel. The website and booking system are available in English.

Is Suntago worth visiting?

If you are spending several days in Warsaw with kids, yes – it is one of the few big attractions that works in any weather. Two hours is rarely enough with children once you factor in slide lines and a meal, so a 4-hour or all-day ticket offers better value. Weekdays are calmer than weekends, and weekday evening deals give you extra hours for the price of two. There are restaurants and bars on site, including swim-up pool bars. Bungalows at Suntago Village let you stay overnight.

How to get to Suntago from Warsaw

The park sits between the A2 motorway and the S8 expressway, at Nowy Świat 1, Wręcza. By car from Warsaw, follow the S8 toward Katowice; from Łódź take the A2 (just over 100 km). Without a car, use the Suntago Bus (timetable on the park's website) or regional connections via Żyrardów. Warsaw Chopin Airport is the closest international airport.
