Spiska Kraina Amusement Park in Niedzica

In Niedzica-Zamek, above Lake Czorsztyn, operates Spiska Kraina — a family amusement park whose heart is made up of two miniature parks. The first, opened in May 2015, presents the most important monuments of Podhale, Spisz and Orawa at a scale of 1:20; the second follows the apparitions of the Virgin Mary around the world.

The Podtatrze region in miniature

Among the twelve models you will find the castles of Niedzica, Czorsztyn and Orawskie Podzamcze, the Red Monastery, the church of St. Michael the Archangel in Dębno, the sanctuaries of Ludźmierz and Wiktorówki, and manor houses in Łopuszna and Zubrzyca Górna. The second park gathers churches from Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe, Vailankanni and Gietrzwałd — a unique collection on a Polish scale.

Rope parks, pontoon racing and inflatables

After the miniatures it is time to move: there are two rope parks (blue and yellow), a pontoon track, Golden Bungee, an inflatable slide and castle. No one leaves hungry either — the Browar Zadyma restaurant operates on site.

In practice

The park lies at Widokowa 5, 600 metres from the Dunajec Castle, and is open all year round, daily 10:00–19:00; entry to the miniature parks is paid (separate tickets). A visit combines well with touring the castle and rafting down the Dunajec — the raftsman's harbour waits a few minutes further. The region has a special character, too: in Niedzica the Spis dialect is still spoken today.
