Sky Walk Świeradów-Zdrój

Above the spa rooftops of Świeradów-Zdrój rises Sky Walk — Poland's tallest observation tower, with a glass terrace suspended 62 metres above the ground. There are no stairs to climb: a gently winding, 850-metre wooden walkway takes you to the top, and you can come down by a metal slide. The tower opened in 2021 on a wooded slope in the Jizera Mountains.

A walkway instead of stairs

The walk starts at the foot of the tower and the gently winding walkway climbs gradually, passing successive levels with attractions. A lower level has a stage used for concerts, plays and talks. If you want a short cut, you can climb a rope spider web that branches out in four directions. Educational quizzes and observation tasks along the route are especially handy with children.

What to see at the top

• The Drop — a net shaped like a water drop, stretched more than 60 metres above the ground; you can walk on it or lie down.
• The glass footbridge projecting into thin air from the very top, at 62 m.
• The panorama of Świeradów's spa architecture and the Jizera ridges.
• The slide — 105 metres long, the longest in Poland; the trip back to the ground takes a few seconds.

Did you know?

The tower belongs to a family of Sky Walk attractions — the operator also points visitors to the sky path in Dolní Morava, in the Czech part of the Śnieżnik (Králický Sněžník) massif. The tower's mascot is Kwisia the frog, a town symbol inspired by a local legend — which explains the frog motifs on souvenirs in the Sky Shop by the exit.

Tripto tip

Tickets are sold on site only, mainly from machines at the entrance; there are no online sales. Your ticket must be validated within 60 minutes of purchase. Children under 3 go free with an adult. The slide costs extra, paid by card at the top, and does not run in rain, fog, strong wind or during technical breaks — tickets are not refunded because of weather. You cannot drive up to the tower (except taxi-buses). The nearest car parks are around Górska, Piłsudskiego and Kardynała Wyszyńskiego streets, and a large area with about 300 spaces is on ul. Dworcowa, behind the Culture Station. There is a space for blue-badge holders next to the tower. Allow 1–1.5 hours for the full walk with a rest at the top, and bring a jacket, as it is often very windy up there.
