Sabat Krajno Amusement and Miniature Park

At 425 m above sea level, at the foot of Łysica — the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie (Holy Cross) Mountains at 612 m — the year-round Sabat Krajno resort combines a miniature park, an amusement park and a ski station above the village of Krajno-Zagórze, near Święta Katarzyna. It has a double character: in summer families come for the funfair and the avenue of models, in winter skiers glide past a floodlit Eiffel Tower and pyramids. The slopes also carry a skiing legend: Stefan Żeromski, one of Poland's finest novelists, skied here long before any lift existed.

World miniatures on a slope

The Miniature Avenue leads along the hillside across almost every continent. The Eiffel Tower stands next to Milan's Duomo, Notre-Dame and the Arc de Triomphe, Neuschwanstein Castle, Cologne Cathedral and the London Eye, while Turkey is represented by Cappadocia and Ephesus. The models are arranged on a rising slope, so the walk doubles as a climb with ever wider views over the mountains. Beside it run the routes of a rope park built entirely on poles, with zip lines passing over the models of the Sydney Opera House and Niagara Falls; routes come in three difficulty levels.

Funfair and winter season

The funfair offers a roller coaster, dodgems, eurobungee, a rockin' rug and a 6D cinema, and the youngest visitors get a playground with an inflatable castle and a maze shaped like a space station. In winter the Sabat slope — according to the operator the longest ski run in central Poland — serves skiers and snowboarders, lit up after dark. The heart of the resort is the two-level Magia Sabatu restaurant serving regional Świętokrzyskie cuisine.
