Park of Miniatures in Olszowa

Olszowa in the Ujazd municipality, a few minutes from the A4 motorway exit, is home to a park where the cathedrals of Paris, Cologne and Venice stand side by side on a few lawns. All the models were built at a scale of 1:25, and the tallest one exceeds 6 metres in height. The exhibition comprises more than a dozen basilicas and cathedrals from Poland and around the world.

Temples of half the world

The list of models includes the sanctuary on St Anne's Mountain, the cathedrals of Opole and Nysa, Kraków's St Mary's Basilica, Wawel Cathedral, St Mary's Church in Gdańsk and the sanctuary in Święta Lipka. The foreign part leads through Italy: St Mark's Basilica in Venice, the cathedrals of Florence and Siena, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, St Peter's Square and Basilica in Rome, and the sanctuary in Fatima. Jerusalem is represented by the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, Paris by Notre-Dame and Cologne by its Gothic cathedral.

Park of attractions

The ticket also covers an activity zone: a 100-metre rope park with tree houses and zip lines, a maze, a wooden carousel and field games. Pontoon rides and boat trips on the pond are available at an extra charge. The miniatures can be viewed all year round from 10:00 to 19:00; on weekdays tickets are half price — a standard ticket costs PLN 24, and children under three enter free of charge. The site also houses a restaurant in a historic granary and a hotel.
