Porcelain Museum in Wałbrzych

The Porcelain Museum in Wałbrzych provides one of the clearest explanations of why ceramics became such an important part of the city’s industrial identity. The institution was founded in 1908 and has been housed since 1926 in the Albertich Palace at 9 1 Maja Street. Today the exhibition combines porcelain with paintings, furniture and furnishings from historic interiors.

The museum states that its collection of Silesian and European porcelain alone contains more than 10,000 objects, while the institution’s entire collection exceeds 35,000 exhibits.
