Międzylesie is a small town at the southern tip of the Kłodzko Land, in the valley of the Nysa Kłodzka right by the Czech border. Its centre forms an ensemble a bigger town would be proud of: a castle with a Renaissance wing and the medieval Black Tower, linked by a covered passage to Corpus Christi Church, where the pulpit is shaped like a boat with a sail. A Baroque Marian column of 1698 stands on the triangular market square, and on Sobieskiego street the last two of seven weavers' houses survive. In the cemetery rises the late Gothic Church of St Barbara of 1491. Międzylesie suits a quiet stroll on the way to the Śnieżnik massif.
