Amusement parks
In Rzgów, south of Łódź, off national road 1, operates the year-round theme park Mandoria, styled as a 16th-century merchant town with a harbour. It occupies the hall of a former trade centre, so the attractions run regardless of the weather. The park opened on 8 July 2021 — the first stage covered 15,000 m² and cost about PLN 110 million, offering more than 20 attractions at the start.
The biggest thrills come from the roller coasters: Merkant, the longest indoor rollercoaster in Poland, Mroczny Dwór, which runs in complete darkness, the electric Carrara from 2022 and Aquila from 2025 — 445 m of track, 70 km/h and a spiral inside a tower about 25 m tall, with a height limit from 95 cm. Nearby operate the two-level Venetian carousel Karawana, the Galeon, the Barbakan family slide, the Skarbiec mirror maze and one of the largest play centres in the country. After the expansion the indoor area reaches 30,000 m², and in 2026 an outdoor zone is to follow.
The park is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00. Children below 85 cm in height enter free of charge; there is a discount with the Large Family Card and combined tickets with the Łódź Zoo. Guests have a large free car park at their disposal, and the halls and attractions can be negotiated with a stroller. In 2024 the park received the Polish Tourist Organisation Certificate for the best tourism product.
