Mandoria Amusement Park

Mandoria – City of Adventures is an amusement park in Rzgów, about 20 km south of Łódź, on national road no. 1. Most of its rides are indoors, themed as a 16th-century Renaissance merchant town, so the park works whatever the weather. Next to the indoor section an outdoor zone is taking shape, where the Valtor coaster has already opened.

History: from trade hall to adventure city

The park was built in a hall originally used as the Ptak Fashion City trade centre; Mandoria belongs to the PTAK group. The opening was planned for summer 2020 but was postponed by the pandemic to 8 July 2021. The first phase covered 15,000 m², cost around PLN 110 million and offered more than 20 attractions. In 2022 the park grew by about 5,000 m² with the electric Carrara coaster and the Chytra Wydra water ride, and in 2025 by a zone with the Aquila coaster, bringing the indoor area to around 30,000 m². In 2024 Mandoria received the Polish Tourism Organisation's certificate in the Best Tourist Product competition.

What to see: coasters and carousels

The park now has more than 30 attractions. The biggest thrills come from the roller coasters:

• Aquila (Vekoma, January 2025) – a launch start, 445 m of track, 70 km/h and a helix inside a tower about 25 m high; the height limit is 95 cm, the first coaster in Poland with such a low limit.
• Carrara – an electric Mack Rides coaster on a "marble trail" theme.
• Merkant – a Gerstlauer family coaster that runs above the entrance area.
• Mroczny Dwór (Dark Manor) – a coaster whose track runs in total darkness.
• Valtor – an outdoor Gerstlauer bobsled coaster with 515 m of track and a height of 21 m.

Alongside them are the two-level Venetian carousel Karawana, the spinning Galeon, the mirror maze Skarbiec, the "flying bicycles" of Latarnia Leonarda, the giant carriage wheel Le Chariot and the Chytra Wydra river.

Did you know?

The outdoor zone is being built on 4 hectares next to the hall; the foundation stone was laid on 7 April 2025, and besides Valtor the plans include a 15-metre water slide and a Splash Battle ride. Eventually the whole development is to cover about 50 ha. The park also promotes its Stary Fort as the largest wooden playground in Poland.

Tripto tips

• Tickets: in October 2026 a one-day ticket cost PLN 174 at the gate and PLN 164 online; there are family options (online PLN 159 per person) and a Large Family Card ticket. Tickets are valid for 90 days.
• Time: set aside a whole day, or at least 4–5 hours.
• Weather: as an outdoor ride, Valtor may close in bad weather.
• Getting there: the park lies on the national road no. 1, in the PTAK trade complex outside Łódź.
