Museums
Funzeum in Gliwice is the interactive Centre of Children’s Imagination in the Europa Centralna shopping centre at 315 Pszczyńska Street. It is designed for experiencing colour, light and sound rather than viewing traditional exhibits behind glass. Everything is indoors, making it a good rainy-day family attraction.
At the Colour Exhibition, children move through rainbow-themed spaces, see what a prism does, touch selected textures and watch how light changes a room. The Light Exhibition focuses on reflections, mirrors, illusions and creative photo spaces. Funzeum combines sensory play with simple questions about science and art.
Alongside the permanent exhibitions, FunArt and FunLab offer workshops and seasonal missions. Families can choose a three-hour ticket, extend their stay or buy a pass with unlimited visits for a set period. Explorers up to 100 cm tall have a toddler ticket costing PLN 10. Check current options and prices online or at the ticket desk.
Funzeum currently lists opening hours of 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. every day, but check the schedule before visiting. Online tickets secure a chosen date and time. FunCafe, toilets and free parking with around 2,300 spaces are available. Bus routes 678 and 232 serve the centre; schedules depend on the trading day. Allow about three hours for a relaxed family visit.
