The Upper Odra Festival is a three-day celebration held across western Silesia. It combines concerts, workshops, tours, outdoor activities and local food. The sixth edition took place from 26 to 28 June 2026 in places including Rybnik, Racibórz, Żory, Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Kornice and Nędza.
The festival has no single site or main stage. Each municipality prepares a concert, workshop, sports activity, nature walk, show or family animation. Choose one town or plan a route through the Upper Odra region. In 2026 the programme included activities by the water, events at palaces and market squares, and nature activities.
It suits visitors who want festival energy together with a closer look at the region. The programme features concerts, workshops, sports zones, walks and demonstrations. Some activities involve kayaking, cycling or water, while others focus on history, nature and local cuisine. Check which events require registration.
The festival is usually held at the start of the summer holidays, and the date and programme change each year. The 2026 edition ran from 26 to 28 June. Choose a town from the official programme, as distances between venues make spontaneous hopping difficult. Many events are free, but selected activities may require registration or a fee.
